This website, www.miniaturepeople.com, is operated by Miniature People. By accessing or using this website, purchasing a product, or downloading any digital files from Miniature People, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please do not use this website or purchase our products.
Miniature People reserves the right to update, change, or replace any portion of these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will become effective when published on this website.
Downloadable 3D Model Files
Miniature People primarily sells downloadable digital 3D model files, including STL files intended for 3D printing.
Our digital products are not physical models. No physical item will be shipped unless a product listing specifically states otherwise.
You are responsible for having access to compatible 3D printing equipment, slicing software, materials, and any other equipment required to print the files.
Results may vary depending on the printer, resin or filament, slicer settings, scale, orientation, supports, and other printing conditions.
Personal Use License
Unless a product listing or separate license specifically states otherwise, all digital files purchased or downloaded from Miniature People are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only.
Purchasing or downloading a Miniature People product grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the files for your own personal use.
You may:
- Download and store the purchased files for your personal use.
- Modify or resize the files for your own personal projects.
- 3D print the models for your own personal use.
- Paint, customize, display, photograph, and use your personally printed models in private collections, dioramas, model railroads, tabletop games, wargames, and similar personal projects.
You may not:
- Sell physical prints made from the files.
- Sell painted or modified physical prints made from the files.
- Use printed models as part of another product that is sold commercially.
- Sell, share, distribute, sublicense, trade, transfer, upload, or give away the digital files.
- Upload the files, modified versions of the files, or derivatives of the files to another website, marketplace, file-sharing service, cloud library, social media group, or similar platform.
- Include the files in another digital product, bundle, collection, Kickstarter, Patreon, crowdfunding campaign, subscription, or membership.
- Convert the files into another digital format for the purpose of redistribution or resale.
- Claim the designs or digital files as your own.
- Use the files or physical prints commercially unless you have received a separate commercial license from Miniature People.
Purchasing a digital product does not transfer ownership of the underlying design, copyright, or intellectual property.
All rights not expressly granted to the purchaser remain with Miniature People and/or the applicable rights holder.
Commercial Use
Commercial use is not included with a standard Miniature People purchase.
This includes selling physical prints made from Miniature People files, whether the prints are sold individually, painted, customized, included in kits, incorporated into dioramas, or included as part of another commercial product.
If Miniature People offers commercial licenses, those licenses will be governed by the separate terms presented with the applicable commercial license.
Possession of a Miniature People digital file does not by itself grant permission to manufacture products for resale.
Terms of Sale
All products are offered subject to availability.
Miniature People reserves the right to:
- Change product prices at any time.
- Add or remove products.
- Change product contents or specifications.
- Correct pricing or listing errors.
- Refuse or cancel an order when reasonably necessary.
- Limit purchases where fraud, abuse, unauthorized redistribution, or violation of these Terms is suspected.
If an order is cancelled by Miniature People after payment has been collected, any applicable refund will be issued according to the payment provider's procedures.
Digital Product Delivery
Digital products are normally made available for download after successful payment.
You are responsible for providing a valid email address and accurate information when making a purchase.
Download access is provided only to the purchaser and may not be shared with other individuals.
Miniature People may restrict or terminate download access if there is evidence of fraud, unauthorized redistribution, chargeback abuse, copyright infringement, or another violation of these Terms.
Product Descriptions
Miniature People makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs, renders, measurements, scale information, file counts, and other product information.
However, occasional typographical, technical, photographic, pricing, or descriptive errors may occur.
We reserve the right to correct errors, update product information, or modify listings at any time without prior notice.
Images and renders are intended to represent the product as accurately as reasonably possible. Actual 3D printed results may vary depending on printer type, printing material, scale, settings, supports, post-processing, painting, and other factors outside the control of Miniature People.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, backgrounds, scenery, accessories, vehicles, figures, buildings, bases, or other objects appearing in promotional images may be for display purposes only and may not be included with the purchased files.
Please review each individual product listing to determine exactly what files are included.
Scaling and 3D Printing
Many Miniature People models may be resized using compatible slicing or 3D modeling software.
However, reducing or enlarging a model significantly may affect details, wall thickness, structural strength, supports, and overall printability.
Miniature People cannot guarantee successful printing at every possible scale or with every printer, material, or setting.
Customers are responsible for determining whether a model is appropriate for their intended printer, scale, material, and use.
Orders and Cancellations
Because digital files may become available immediately after purchase, orders for downloadable digital products generally cannot be cancelled once the files have been accessed, downloaded, or delivered.
If you accidentally place an order and have not downloaded or accessed the files, please contact Miniature People as soon as possible.
Cancellation requests will be reviewed individually and may be approved or denied depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
Refunds and Returns
Because Miniature People sells downloadable digital products that cannot physically be returned, all digital product sales are generally final once the files have been downloaded or accessed.
Refunds may be considered in situations such as:
- Duplicate purchases.
- A corrupted or unusable download that Miniature People is unable to replace.
- An incorrect file being provided.
- Another circumstance where a refund is required by applicable law.
Problems with printing caused by printer settings, slicer settings, resin, filament, supports, scaling, orientation, hardware problems, or user error generally do not qualify for a refund.
If you experience a problem with a file, please contact Miniature People through www.miniaturepeople.com so we can attempt to assist you.
Nothing in this policy limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Payment
By placing an order, you authorize Miniature People and its payment-processing providers to charge the payment method provided for the total amount displayed during checkout.
Payment processing may be provided by third-party payment services. Miniature People does not necessarily directly store complete credit or debit card information.
An order is not considered complete until payment has been successfully authorized and accepted.
Miniature People reserves the right to cancel, refuse, or investigate transactions suspected of fraud, unauthorized payment activity, abuse, excessive disputes, chargeback misuse, or violation of these Terms.
Taxes
Applicable sales tax, VAT, GST, or other taxes may be collected depending on the customer's location, the products purchased, applicable law, and the payment or ecommerce platform used to process the transaction.
Any applicable taxes will normally be calculated or displayed during checkout where required.
Customers are responsible for any additional taxes, duties, fees, or obligations that may apply in their jurisdiction.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all digital models, STL files, renders, graphics, photographs, logos, branding, website content, product descriptions, and other original content associated with Miniature People are owned by or licensed to Miniature People and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
Purchasing a product does not transfer copyright or ownership of the design.
The Miniature People name, branding, logos, and associated graphics may not be copied or used to represent another business or product without permission.
Copyright Infringement
Miniature People respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects customers and website users to do the same.
Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights may be removed when appropriate.
Miniature People also reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to products or services for users who redistribute, pirate, share, resell, or otherwise misuse Miniature People digital files.
If you believe content available through Miniature People infringes intellectual property rights belonging to you, please contact us through www.miniaturepeople.com with sufficient information to identify the material and the rights involved.
Unauthorized File Sharing and Piracy
Miniature People digital files may not be uploaded or shared through file-sharing websites, torrents, social media groups, Discord servers, forums, cloud storage links, STL repositories, Telegram groups, resale marketplaces, or any other public or private distribution method.
This restriction applies to both original files and modified or converted versions of the files.
Unauthorized redistribution may result in termination of access to Miniature People products and services and may lead to additional enforcement where appropriate.
Account and Download Access
Where customer accounts or download libraries are provided, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You may not give another person access to your account for the purpose of obtaining Miniature People digital products.
Miniature People reserves the right to restrict access to accounts that appear to be involved in unauthorized sharing, fraud, abuse, or other violations of these Terms.
Third-Party Links
The Miniature People website may contain links to third-party websites or services.
Miniature People does not control and is not responsible for the content, policies, availability, security, or practices of third-party websites.
The inclusion of a third-party link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement.
Use of third-party websites is at the user's own discretion and may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.
Website Errors and Revisions
Content appearing on www.miniaturepeople.com may occasionally contain technical, typographical, photographic, pricing, or other errors.
Miniature People does not guarantee that all website content will always be complete, accurate, current, or error-free.
Miniature People may modify, correct, replace, or remove website content at any time without prior notice.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Miniature People will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages resulting from the use or inability to use our website, digital files, or products.
Customers are responsible for safely operating their own 3D printers, tools, resins, filaments, chemicals, paints, adhesives, and related equipment.
Miniature People is not responsible for damage to printers, equipment, materials, property, or other items resulting from improper printing, handling, modification, or use of downloaded files.
Acceptance of These Terms
By purchasing, downloading, or using any Miniature People digital product, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
